Conflict of Interest

Policy
Safello has a strict internal policy for identifying, managing, and preventing conflicts of interest. The aim is to avoid conflicts of interest, but when such conflicts do arise, Safello is obligated to ensure that customers' interests are not adversely affected.
Examples of conflicts of interest
A conflict of interest may arise in connection with Safello's provision of crypto-asset services, primarily when executing customer orders on crypto-asset trading platforms on behalf of customers. A conflict of interest occurs if Safello, or its employees, have a financial or other interest that conflicts with a customer’s interests. Examples of such situations include when Safello provides services to different customers with conflicting interests, when Safello or its employees may benefit financially at the expense of a customer, or when one customer may benefit financially at the expense of another customer.
Procedures to minimize and manage conflicts
To minimize the risks of conflicts of interest, Safello has established procedures to identify potential and actual conflicts of interest. When a conflict of interest is identified, immediate measures are taken to ensure that customers' interests are protected. These measures include, among other things, the segregation of duties, rules for personal transactions, and appropriate remuneration systems. Additionally, Safello has strict rules regarding the handling of gifts and other benefits, as well as training for employees to ensure compliance with the policy.
Transparency and fair treatment
To further ensure fair treatment of customers, Safello limits its ability to accept compensation from third parties when providing services. If Safello receives such compensation, customers will be informed accordingly.
